University was sensationally beaten on Saturday by an overhead kick goal by Banyule City's Ilija Tasevski in the final minutes of the match.

The result was the third straight loss for University.

University was caught out in the first half when a cross from the right wing fell to Banyule's Pally Romano, who took his chance to put Banyule in the lead.

University equalised early in the second half when Damir Mitric beat two defenders in the penalty box and slotted the ball past the keeper.

University then had the better of the chances, with Lino Lidestri hitting the crossbar and Mitric shooting just wide of the post. Anthony Deluca proved to be a handful for Banyule's midfield, but his penetrating runs could not crack open Banyule's defence.

With only five minutes remaining Banyule won a corner kick. On the end of the kick was an acrobatic Tasevski, leaving University's goalkeeper no chance. Tasevski's enthusiastic celebration, however, earnt him a second yellow card and he was sent from the pitch.

Despite the one man advantage, University was not able to find another equaliser.

University's Reserve team recorded another win, 2-0. The match highlight came from captain Martin Andersson, who drilled a 30-yard free kick into the top left corner. The wonder strike will be difficult to beat as goal of the season.
